 7 - 14 - 2022 Fishing Report Sumner is here and it’s hot but fishing is still good early in morning. Starting  at day light you can still get into some nice bass fishing.  Crappie are deeper on main lake and scattered but this to can work out if you know what to do if conditions are right. Don’t fish all day just when your chances are to your advantage. 

 7 - 8 - 2022 Fishing Report Crappie fishing on lake has changed they gave went deep is all I can say.  Bass are hard to say on but if you find them you can catch them.  The river was low for a  few days and I found sone nice spots  I hope the water stays that way  

6 - 27 - 2022 Fishing Report.  Man time has gotten away from me  as my last post has been sone time back.  Lake fishing has been good for the most part. I’ve had mostly good trips with numbers on sone days and big fish on others. There are those days we’re it is just hard fishing.  Crappie trolling has slowed down as the fish are scattered. Shooting docks will produce on sone days but it’s hard for sone people to do.  Lake is 659.6 and temp is around 83% color is clear to lite stain. They will slow down the water soon. Truman is 706 so they will keep the lake full so they can generate electric if they need to.  I’ll be fishing below on the river for the next few weeks it’s a good way to get away from the big boats and jet skies.  Fishing Report 6-11-2022 What can I say yesterday I could it buy a good fish I fished the same pattern that I used two days before with good results. Today was a new day is all there us to it. Started out on the first bank just like yesterday and bang four fish and one good one. Next bank three more after fishing five banks we had fish on them all. With five keepers abs fifteen total the guys we’re happy abs so was I. 

 Fishing Report 6 - 7 - 2022 Lake Ozark is in good condition. Water is 658.36 and mostly clear in most creeks . Their still running lots of water but that help fishing on the lake. Water temp is in the lie 70’s  Bass are on points about fifteen feet deep. Shaky heads and drop shot will catch numbers of Bass and some nice keepers.  Crappie are still doing good around docks or trolling. We’ve had some good day crappie fishing. Night fishing for them will get good as the water heats up and they move to deep water. 

 I took my first fly fisher man on the lake today. He worked hard to get his lure in the right place. He whipped his fly rod 7-10 even 12 time and then lay the lure right were he wanted.  Knot knowing how to run the trolling motor right didn’t help him. However he had eight bass in the boat and lost four. It was fun to see just how they can whip a rod and make a lure go were they want. 

 Fishing Report 5 - 28 - 2022 It’s a holiday week end and the big boats are out.  I’m still getting out early to catch bass and crappie and catching some nice crappie and bass. Friday was a good trip with thirty five fish and four over thirteen inches. Bass in the ten to twenty five feet deep  we catch five little ones then a keeper
