Bass are shallow and on the feed. I’ve had a few big fish with bloody tails this week. So there must be a late spawn. There are a few deep bass too so you can pick the way you like to fish. Our best five would be around 17#’s

 8 - 1 - 2022 fishing report Fishing has been good if you find them soon enough. Starting at day like is the best bite most of the time this time of year. One day I find them on deep points and next day up shallow. Today I saw Shad on top but half way back in coves. Maybe some more cool days and rain will keep them up.  They are running water now so tomorrow will be another day. I check my records to see what I’ve done the last few years hope and start with that. I had a decoy fish out deep and spent two hours look for more but no go. Here’s the one we did get.

 6 - 25 - 24 Fishing Report  Bass on lake ozark at changing with the hotter water and less current. It’s been a points bite for three or four weeks but their going deeper. Sone are in brush. Their still sone on points too in the 25 to 35’ water. It gets tuff this time of year for day time fishing. I’m going to fish a night or to just to see what I can find.   Crappie have not been easy to catch for me. I’ve trolled, fished  deep brush and docks. I catch a few then have to move to another spot. There again night fishing with lights over deep water maybe my next trip.  The river has been messed up but they should stop running water soon so it will be good fishing once they stop playing with water levels.

 5 - 17 - 2023 Fishing Report.  Been on fish all week.crappie have  ben on a good bite. Shooting docks or fishing brush don’t matter. Trolling is slow for me.  Bass on river we’re biting pretty good Tuesday. Dan had seven or eight keepers in four hours so we’re ready to go back.
