10 - 4 - 2022 F it aging Report

This weather we’re having is great cool in morning  and not real hot in afternoon. Crappie fishing has been a hit or miss for me the last few weeks. But it is turning around for the better I think. We are finding a lot more fish around some  docks in deeper waster. I’m seeing more Shad in the coves so crappie and Bass should move in soon. 

For the most part the lake is in good condition there’s a little more color above the 35 mm but not bad. Temps are still in the mid 70’s with water levels at 657.30. 

Fishing over all is fair all over the lake. The upper end is better now but watch for the turn over then move down lake to mid part.

 7 - 27 - 2023 Fishing Report It the end of July and believe it or not the lake is full of water  and in the mid 80’s . Fishing has been good for numbers with a few good bass at times  shaky heads, jigs and drop shot have worked  we have to get out early to get the bite but that sumner fishing   Crappie are in 20 to 35’ deep brush and docks  they too feed early but you can catch them if you can get to them  I’m doing four hour trip and by the end fishing slows way down so people are ready to find a cooler place to be

 11 - 23 - 2022 Fishing Report  Been out fishing the last three days. Monday and Tuesday it was windy but in the 50’s. Got  most of our fishing on Chompers Jigs and top water. The fish are biting soft even on the top water. Wednesday was totally on a Chomper jig. The wind didn’t blow till later in the afternoon so I wasn’t  able to find a top water bite. We did manage to find some nice crappie so we finished the day catching them.

 9 - 27 - 2022 Fishing Report  Monday the 26 I trolled crank baits for a few hours and boated about twenty crappie. Went out Tuesday and did the same thing only up the lake twenty mikes and  only had eight crappie. On the way back we talked about the day. We think the wind was the difference no wind to push the Shad to the bank.
