Fishing Report 5 - 10 - 2022

 Today was a good all around day. Started out Crappie fishing with jigs and ended up with 21 nice black crappie with a few white ones mixed in. Then we went Bass fishing.   Its a little windy and sunny day and its late in the day so I started deep on points not a bad Choice. We got 8 to 10 Bass with one four pounder and a couple 2.5 pounders the rest were just bass. 

The lake is clear around the dam but the pollen is bad. The lake is almost full with the temps in the low to mid 60's. Most of the bigger creeks are muddy to stained. around the toll bridge its stained. The lake is stable as they are running out as much a is coming in I think. Over all its good fishing.

 7 - 27 - 2023 Fishing Report It the end of July and believe it or not the lake is full of water  and in the mid 80’s . Fishing has been good for numbers with a few good bass at times  shaky heads, jigs and drop shot have worked  we have to get out early to get the bite but that sumner fishing   Crappie are in 20 to 35’ deep brush and docks  they too feed early but you can catch them if you can get to them  I’m doing four hour trip and by the end fishing slows way down so people are ready to find a cooler place to be

 11 - 23 - 2022 Fishing Report  Been out fishing the last three days. Monday and Tuesday it was windy but in the 50’s. Got  most of our fishing on Chompers Jigs and top water. The fish are biting soft even on the top water. Wednesday was totally on a Chomper jig. The wind didn’t blow till later in the afternoon so I wasn’t  able to find a top water bite. We did manage to find some nice crappie so we finished the day catching them.

 9 - 27 - 2022 Fishing Report  Monday the 26 I trolled crank baits for a few hours and boated about twenty crappie. Went out Tuesday and did the same thing only up the lake twenty mikes and  only had eight crappie. On the way back we talked about the day. We think the wind was the difference no wind to push the Shad to the bank.
