4 - 27 - 2023 Fishing Report Crappie fishing is great we’re catching nice size and good numbers. They are ready to move in once the water gets warmer.  Bass are waiting for warmer water as well. Just fish a little deeper close to spawning banks. Sone beds have been seen so it’s time. Water still in low 60’s and clear on most of the lake. No spring rain to speck of so there’s it much current.  Spoonbill have been moving up but gave scattered out too. This late in season sone have spawned

4 - 20 - 2023 Fishing Report.  Crappie fished the last couple days. Tuesday Richard took home 26 crappie. Most were five to ten feet deep. If the clouds covered the sun they did better as far as the bit. Thursday it was windy points in three to ten feet deep. A slow retrieve was best if they didn’t hit you shallow. Looks like the  black crappie have spawned. I cleaned twenty two crappie and they didn’t have many eggs. The white crappie have eggs but they are ready to spawn. Some  warm nights and they will do it. Going snagging Friday then fishing till dark thirty. It will be a long day.
4 - 15 - 2023. Fishing Report.  Fishing has been good spoonbill are still moving around. I have to remember my phone so I can take pictures.  Bass moved up sone but the bigger females are still staging in a little deeper water. A shaky head with a Sinko or trick worm dragging in ten to twenty feet should get you a good fish.  Crappie are like a yo - yo. If it’s cloudy with some  wind or stained water they will be in that seven to twelve foot range. My best fish have been close to point in cove s.
